StumbleUpon StumbleUpon has just started working wonders for my site. It used to only bring me a little traffic but now it's getting me a lot more; I guess a lot of people have liked it. For those who don't know what StumbleUpon is, it is a toolbar with a button that takes you to a random site when you press it, and people vote whether they think the site is good or not.
I haven't heard of that before. I guess the biggest draw back with that for me is actually getting people to download the toolbar. I hardly ever use those type of things.
Same here. A lot of the downloadable toolbars contain spyware and slow down your machine by taking up valueable system resources. I wouldn't easily download any toolbar that isn't widely used such as the Google toolbar or even the dogpile one which is pretty good too although I uninstalled it recently.
