| Promoting a local business Someone had asked about someone in Toronto making a website for a local business.I ran across this site... which I think is an excellent example of using the web to promote a local business. The business is really out in the middle of nowhere... Jacksonville, Illinois! It looks like a great site and I wish him well with it. Maybe a google adsense ad that blended in and he would hear a jingle in his pocket from it too. |
#1Somewhere Over The Rainbow | That's a very good example. And, as you see, it doesn't have to be a huge complicated page to look good and get your message across. Everyone with a business should take the time to get a website up and running. He could even run a website special, maybe a printable coupon for $2 off or something, just to see how many people are checking out the site. |
| I have to agree that any company with a website has a better chance. Especially if you offer something that is easily shipped or you don't mind doing a little traveling if you offer a service. |
