| What's an RSS Feed? I hear the term "RSS feed" a lot, but I don't really know what it is. It would help if somebody told me :) |

| Well, RSS means really simple syndication, and that's as simple as you can get if the HTML isn't interpreted, so an RSS feed is just the page if it's not interpreted? Eh? |
| A page in a very structured format. Basically a list of items and each item has a: title, description and link. (Also the feed has a header which is the same as an item). The items can contain anything you want. |
| There used to be arguments as to what the name actually stood for. Some said 'Really Simple Syndication' and some said 'Rich Site Summary'. Pointless argument really but it seems as though they've made it 'Really Simple Syndication' since RSS 2.0 anyway. Billy, that's great that there's an RSS feed for this site. I wonder if it's worth having a page to display the latest posts on glrsales.com so that it's easy to see what the latest posts are. It doesn't necessarily have to be on the front page of the site, but maybe a link to a page that displays the feed via some reader. I think it would be useful, but it's just a suggestion. |
| I would agree that RSS(Really Simple Syndication) Feed is very useful because it allows you to publish frequently updated works online just like blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video. As far as I know there are three latest version of RSS as of 2007 and these are RSS 0.91, 1.0, and 2.0. I am so convinced that this site is also having RSS Feed. I found it updated, actually. |
