Answers: What is link anchor text? What is link anchor text? I've recently began reading a couple of webmaster forums and I keep seeing people refer to "link anchor text". Can you tell me what it is so I won't feel like I'm in the dark? What is link anchor text?

"Html Anchor" In html Anchor tag is used for links e.g. Google home page in above link "google home page" part is text part of anchor and will be visible in front of link.
