| I wouldn't spend money on graphics for a myspace page. I kind of think of my myspace page as a place to work with my own graphics (no matter how unprofessional they may be). Why would anyone try to make a professional looking page on myspace? |
| Actually, I have had clients that would certainly pay for a myspace design. They have products and services they want to promote and they know that it takes a young and hip approach to successfully market something on MySpace. I could easily see somebody paying a few hundred bucks for a good MySpace page that includes custom graphics and a smart approach to marketing. The big boys are spending a lot more than that on their myspace (and similar sites) marketing strategies. |

It looks like a groove thing and not like a commercial, and the viral nature of the friends networks gets people to spread the message fast. Myspace can break it big but you have to have a strategy. |
| I have seen a good number of bands, solo artists, and others using myspace as a way to gain interest. I think it works to some aspect. I looked up a few of the singers I like and the majority of them are on myspace. Personally I wouldn't pay for graphics but others wanting to gain some attention might. |
