Article: Mozilla to Release New Firefox Every 6 Weeks

To make itself more competitive, Mozilla decided on releasing a new version of Firefox every six weeks, the same thing Google is doing with their Chrome browser. They have actually released Firefox 5, even though users just upgraded to Firefox 4 a few months ago.

This is actually good news for consumers. Being on top usually makes one (or a company) less competitive. We all have seen the downfall of the great Microsoft Internet Explorer right, luckily Mozilla don't want that happening anytime sooner with their Firefox. AS I made this reaction the update is currently at version 6, but that would be completely different as to when you shall read this. I am thankful that competition has once again made companies competitive and up their game and at the end of the game, it is us, the end-users who are getting much out of it.... or probably not.
