Creating Subdomains and Add-on Domains in cPanel - WordpressVideos.TV

Thank author of this post/commentThis tutorial is continued with full written instructions at WordpressVideos.TV In this video, Im gonna show you how to use your cPanel account to create subdomains and also add-on domains. So the first thing you need to do is log in to your cPanel web host account, and then scroll to the bottom. Under Domains, you would see a few links here; and the first is Subdomains; second is Addon Domains; third is Parked Domains; and so on. So lets first create a subdomain. Now, in many ways, a subdomain can be treated as a different domain name altogether. And in fact, as far as search engines are concerned, they usually treat subdomains as a new domain name. Now, there are a few reasons you may want to use subdomains instead of subfolders. The first is to create different portions of your website that focus on different aspects. So for example, I may want all my members to log in at members.youractualurl.com. And then youd see that cPanel automatically map this subdomain that Ive created to the document route, and also to the specific folder that matches this subdomain. So if I create members.youractualurl.com, then any website, or all the files, all the pages that I want to appear at members.youractualurl.com, I would need to upload it to this folder via FTP. And lets click on Create. Okay, so it says, members.youractualurl.com has been created. And lets go backnow you can see I have two subdomains. The first is members.youractualurl.com, and the second is test.youractualurl.com ...
