What's the most you've paid for a domain name?

Thank author of this post/commentI think the most I paid was $50 but I am in the selling game. People still think you can make the big bucks but those customers are fewer than ever these days.

What's the most you've paid for a domain name?

Thank author of this post/commentThe most i have paid is $25.00. I used some points from a website to trade a guy for some design services I never used.

I think I pointed it at a landing page and then let it expire. if you're not invested, really how motivated can you be unless there is a looming sale value?

Thank author of this post/commentI thought to purchase a domain it only ran 10.00-20.00. I never knew it would cost upwards of 50.00. Can you rent domains or are they just available for purchase. I thought I saw a site that said it was 8.00, but I am not sure if that was per month or to purchase outright.

Thank author of this post/commentI have gotten them as low as $2.99. They are often $1.99 if you buy them with a hosting package like at Godaddy.com. I like to pick them up cheap if there is a keyword I want. Then I have an inexpensive way to drive traffic to an existing site, just program the url to redirect to my existing page.

Thank author of this post/commentThe most I've paid is $7, that's right, only $7. I don't think I'd ever buy one from someone.

Thank author of this post/commentThere are domain names being bought for hundreds of thousands of dollars to over a million. You'd be amazed what sort of traffic some of those domains get. The people that can afford them are often very smart to snap them up even though they are very expensive. I've also seen many great ones go for a few hundred to a few thousand.

Thank author of this post/commentTake a look at http://dnjournal.com and you'll see the latest and greatest sales. Unbelievable to see what names sell for a lot of money. I think a lot of the buyers just use them for traffic or as landing pages, but there are some gems there.

Thank author of this post/commentI have never paid that much for domain name. The most I have ever paid was about $8. I guess it depends on what you are trying to do.
