I have never heard of wonderware script before., Is this some kind of new scripting option for web programmers?

Wonderware script is a scripting language that can be used in Wonderware products called InTouch and Industrial Application Server. It is not an open language, but is one that is used internally in these programs by users to build their applications. These applications they build then run in the InTouch or Industrial Application Server environment, and provide the basis for an industrial automation HMI or SCADA system.
