| Is blogging more powerful than ever? I've toyed with with idea of starting a blog focused on a specific niche, but I'm not sure whether blogging is going to continue at the current rate or if the hype has died down a lot?What do you think? Is it going to continue being so popular or will the web become so saturated with blogs that people will not pay as much attention? Of course promoting one's blog becomes that much more difficult if it's the latter. |
| Blogs seem to be really super popular right now. I think the hype will continue a while longer, but it will eventually die down when something new comes along to get all hyped up about. |
| I would say that it is less powerful, because there is a lot more competition than it was a long time ago. However, more people read blogs now too, so it kind of evens out... |
| I can't really say it is more powerful but I think more people are aware of it. I think there are a lot of people who are blogging now. I think you can do a sucessful blog IF you find the right niche topic. |
| I agree with all that is said above. They are a powerful tool but how long it will remain that way is hard to say. More and more people are blogging and more and more people are aware of blogs now. But it is like anything new that comes along it take a while to build and then it skyrockets and then comes plummeting back to earth or an even keel. If you keep the topic topical then I'm sure you will do well for as long as it lasts. How long it will last is hard to say. |
| Blogging is just popular, I don't know if there is much power in it for a personal kind of blog. If you have a huge blog site where you need to hire bloggers, you may have some power. |
| I have seen one or two sites that are now hiring bloggers. I think it becoming more a thing now. I know a good number of people who are developing niche blogs and running with it. Some are doing well while others are struggling. |
